Borders of Kanta - Board Game

I animated an intro video (above) and filmed/animated a play-through video (below) for the Boards of Kanta board game Kickstarter campaign. Both videos were displayed on the Kickstarter page, and the game was funded in 6 hours. For the intro video, I animated the pre-existing game artwork (by Apolline Etienne) in Adobe After Effects and added music and sound effects. For the play-through video, I filmed and recorded sound for 3 game players.

This was my first project working with pre-existing artwork and I thought it turned out great. Once I had layered images and understood the game creators vision, the process went quite smoothly. For the play through video, I used a tripod with a horizontal centre column and three lavalier microphones for the players.
