Indigenous Cinema Article

Downtown Food Desert Article & Infographic
I wrote, researched and designed this article for PEGriculture, a magazine on urban agriculture, which my classmates and I created as an assignment in Red River College’s Creative Communications program.
It started with news that a Winnipeg Food Council would be created, but became a larger story about the lack of affordable and nutritious grocery stores in downtown Winnipeg. Writing this article put my outside my comfort zone in interviewing strangers, but it was quite interesting to learn about an issue I hadn’t previously known about.
